Emerald Horizon AG is an Austrian deep-tech company founded in 2019 and headquartered in Graz. The company develops innovative solutions for clean, reliable and scalable energy generation and storage.
Its technology platform combines modular energy storage systems with the development of a subcritical, accelerator-driven thorium energy source (ADES). With DUALstorePLUS, Emerald Horizon is bringing modular energy storage to market, while its long-term vision is to enable SMR-class clean power through the integration of energy storage and ADES technology.
Emerald Horizon is working closely with VDL Groep from the Netherlands as a co-engineering and co-manufacturing partner, supporting the development and future industrialization of its technologies.
